Custom Seats and Leatherwork

Located on the Mid North Coast of
hand-tooled, hand-laced leather seats in the world. We
can recover existing seats, or if you have your
own seat pan
we can foam and cover it for you. We also make custom seat pans to fit.
All seats are
produced using the finest 3mm vegetable tanned hides and we only use the finest
Kangaroo
lace in our seats
and leatherwork, cut from the thickest hides especially for us to ensure
strength and
durability. Any stitching is done by hand using
traditional saddle stitching. All of our seat pans are made
from 3mm, 1020 mild steel, with tig welded high tensile
studs. We currently produce the DGS V sprung
seat. It is covered with leather front and back, and
comes standard with10mm closed cell foam padding.
Bolt spacing is
that of the traditional Bates style seat.
Our seat prices start at $450 for the DGS V, plain or
black with no tooling. No extra charge for custom
bolt spacing. Any quotes of more than $800 require a
50% deposit to begin work. Currently seats take
2-3 weeks to complete. Contact us for details.

the DGS VI!*
The DGS VI is an improvement on the previous DGS V
model , maintaining the comfortable seat shape
with improved front. The seat curves down at the front
for increased leg clearance while sitting at the lights
and it also gives the seat a fuller look. A black or
antiqued DGS VI with no tooling is $475, again, no extra
charge for custom bolt spacing.
